34 (A)quenched the power of fire, (B)escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong from weakness, (C)became mighty in war, (D)put foreign armies to flight. 35 (E)Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their [a]release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection; 36 and others [b]experienced mockings and floggings, yes, also (F)chains and imprisonment.
